Planning a Perfect Website

Miami Web Design Pro knows that as a designer it’s easy to get lost in your own head. You have so many things going on in that cluttered space that you won’t even know where to begin. Although it is bold to open up Adobe Photoshop and get started, we advise you to conduct some planning first.

Blue Prints
Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither will your perfect website. We always recommend to start in the beginning instead of throwing yourself into Adobe Photoshop. You need to relax, take a deep breath, and clear your mind. Focus on what you want to get out of this website. What are you or your client looking for in a completed object? Are there any specific items you want to include no questions asked? You need to know what you want to do and where to start.

We always recommend you try sketching out ideas, that way you can see what works, and what doesn’t, before you waste your time making it digital.

Finding your inspiration
Whether it be in books, magazine, artwork, or design galleries, you need to draw your inspiration from somewhere.
Look through design galleries, it may prove to be your muse. There is nothing wrong with borrowing ideas, as long as the final product is original. You need to incorporate other designers’ brilliant ideas with your own innovative outlook.

Design Numbers Builds
Because if there’s something we all have learned is that one website is not enough, you need to compare different color schemes, menus, shadows, etc. Some may say that this only slows down the process, but if you design 2 to 4 templates that are each strong enough to be their own website, and compare them, well then you’ll be making magic.

Simplicity is key
White space is crucial with any great design. If the page is laid our correctly then it will appear cleaner, and much more user friendly. And if something isn’t necessary it should be axed. What we’re trying to say is that if you don’t need something, and it ‘s just taking up space, it is superfluous and needs to be eliminated. In order to avoid that you should have a list of mandatory page elements for each page.

  1. Hmm it looks like your westibe ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any recommendations for first-time blog writers? I’d really appreciate it.
