Google Places and your Address

Miami Web Design Pro is always looking for new ways to boost ourselves up in Google, and we think we just found a new way. In a recent post at Search Engine Watch, Peter van der Graaf notes that local search results are becoming more important to the SEO mix. This is probably because you can promote yourself through search and Google Maps.

And we know, it can appear almost impossible to appear as the top choices for “hotel in Miami,” but it could be as easy as putting your address. Here are some tips to gain rank in local search results:

1. Use your company name in your address listing. Because your name is the first thing customers see on the address listing.

2.Include a normal href link. Below your address, provide a normal link to your website, entered the same way as your verified Google Places listing.

3. Promote your local-links. Local link building is all about getting your address on all the sites and listings where you’d normally settle for just a link

So the moral of the story is that instead of just settling for a link on place, provide your complete information.

  1. It’s a pity you don’t have a donate button! I’d most certainly donate to this excellent blog! I suppose for now i’ll settle for book-marking and adding your RSS feed to my Google account. I look forward to fresh updates and will share this site with my Facebook group. Chat soon!
