Where do you even start? What colors apply to you? What’s CSS3? And what about PHP? It may all be extremely confusing in the beginning, not to mention overwhelming, but there is one thing you must remember. Regardless of the structure, organization, typography, drop shadows, corners, responsiveness, or usability the most important thing when it comes to web design is whether or not the website performs its job. In other words, does the design achieve the end result you desired?

Most of us have heard about the famous psychoanalyst Carl Jung and his theory of archetypes, and if you haven’t, here it is in a nutshell: an archetype is a person or symbol that is universally understood to possess the same things, no matter what culture you are in. Examples are The Virgin and the Bag Guy. Well there are social media archetypes as well, and they make up the different people you may encounter online. Miami Web Design Pro is about to to run a crash course on how to spot them.

Miami Web Design Pro doesn’t know about you guys but some of our employees sure have been experiencing Facebook glitches. For one it was accidentally turned on all Facebook e-mail notifications for some users. There’s a reason that some people opt to not receive these trivial e-mails, because they tell you about the most minuscule details – “So and so just checked in.” As if we really wanted to know.
On Tuesday some Facebook users apparently had all of these potentially irritating notifications turned back on — even if they’d tried to block them. How frustrating! According to the company it fixed this issue at noon today. Well that would expect the random ceasing of the e-mails, we just thought our g-mail spam bots were hard at work.

Well then you really aren’t prepared for what’s in store. We here at Miami Web Design Pro have been perusing the web, and we stumbled across an old-time classic that has a new twist. To promote Namco-Bandai, the creators of the arcade classic Pacman, have created what it’s calling the World’s Biggest Pac-Man game.
Soap Creative was the designer of the original Pac-Man website, and last week they created the online game. Since then users have gobbled up over 270 million dots. That’s not the only impressive number: fans have helped created more than 12,600 interlocking mazes. Players can play on multiple mazes in a single game. The exits that let you zoom to the other side of a maze in the original version of the game transport you to the next maze in this one.

What’s going on today at the Miami Web Design Pro offices? Well no big deal except that one of our employees finds out today whether she has been accepted to Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and Princeton. That employee is me, and saying that I’m nervous would be an understatement. Something along the lines of “on the brink of an aneurysm” is a little more appropriate.
I find out in 20 minutes, and counting. DUN DUN DUN. Needless to say this has been the longest day of my life, not to mention that the fact that Yale’s website is down is not helping my nerves.

Well we know this is a little off topic. Okay, A LOT off topic, but one of our Miami Web Design Pro employees has always wondered about Elizabeth Taylor’s eyes. Those violet eyes that transfixed everyone. Well were they the real deal? We did a little bit of snooping, and here’s what we got:
