With today’s technology (i.e. smartphones, laptops, and tablets) social media has become apart of every digital tool we use and that isn’t going to change. So the question a smart business owner should ask himself is “What Social Media mindset should I incorporate to better my business vs it getting in the way of my business.”

As of now many companies big and small see Social Media as a distraction for employees. Employees are procrastinating at work, not meeting deadlines and being unproductive at work because there to busy replying to a post a friend or family member created or maybe there almost done cropping the fields on Farmville. Whatever the case maybe employers have begun to see Facebook, Twitter, Google+ etc.. as nothing more than distractions. Well guess what? Decision Time

What’s going on today at the Miami Web Design Pro offices? Well no big deal except that one of our employees finds out today whether she has been accepted to Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and Princeton. That employee is me, and saying that I’m nervous would be an understatement. Something along the lines of “on the brink of an aneurysm” is a little more appropriate.
I find out in 20 minutes, and counting. DUN DUN DUN. Needless to say this has been the longest day of my life, not to mention that the fact that Yale’s website is down is not helping my nerves.

All About the Eyes

Well we know this is a little off topic. Okay, A LOT off topic, but one of our Miami Web Design Pro employees has always wondered about Elizabeth Taylor’s eyes. Those violet eyes that transfixed everyone. Well were they the real deal? We did a little bit of snooping, and here’s what we got:

Okay, so they’re cool, but are they effective?

We’re talking about Touchscreen Tablets. Miami Web Design Pro loves playing with the newest web design gadgets, because let’s face it: we’re a bunch of geeks. Most designers use sketchpads or just plain ol’ paper, but in today’s day-and-age a sketchpad is become quite rustic, and unpractical because of the size. Okay so what’s the solution? Well you can scan it but it might not be as crisp, or look at good. Or you can take a picture, but we all know the quality won’t be the same. So what’s the real solution? Well Touchscreen Tablets may just do the trick.
